A Fire or Smoke Condition can be caused by an Accident, a Mechanical Failure, an Explosion or a Malicious Person (arson). Generally, the initial Building Staff responses are the same.

While a Smoke Condition can be an emerging or emergency situation, a Fire Condition is always considered an emergency.
